      unbeatable p0137

Hi guys I have an old 2008 Chevy Aveo that has had a p0137 for a couple of months, What happened to the old sensor was that the thing holding in place rusted off and the sensor fell out during driving which is how the p0137 first came. We replaced both sensors and checked the catalytic converter and everything is new and where it should be, we tried doing the 02 defouler trick and we still get the same error. any clues on how to fix this? Inspection is coming up and me and my family can't afford to buy another car for at least a year

You need to check the continuity of the sensor wires, because there's a good chance that when the sensor broke free they came too close to the hot cat and melted some of the insulation.

I’d probably also check the engine harness as well; when that sensor broke, it probably stressed the wiring in the engine harness.

I agree, its probably damaged wiring. Check the sensor plug for power.
