      updates, foglight question, and projects

Well, since I've been back I've picked up autoshade ventvisors, a roof rack, NGK performance wires and iridium plugs, and a gates timing belt kit. I've put the ventshades and roof rack, you will get picks of those when the snow melts a little. I'm looking to put in OEM foglights on a first gen, will I have to wire them? Is there I kit that has everything I need?Name: 1390444500380.jpg

No full kit for the fog lights. The wiring harness is mostly missing. There is a slot in the fusebox for the relay, but it looks like a pain to wire to. Personalty when I get mine I plan on connecting them to the headlight wiring, the wiring up another relay off the headlight switch to fire the headlights. Point is to make the fogs run off the DRL system, and save my $ Silverstar Ultra bulbs for when I actually want headlights.

I just did mine recently, wired it up myself.

      Here's a diagram of what I did.

I used all 14 gauge wiring, bought 100ft for $15 at orileys.

What you should do though, instead of taking 12v from battery, splice into the radio power, it's all 12v, and that way if you leave the switch up, it will automatically turn off the fogs, instead of draining your battery.

      I'll be doing that soon^.
