I was told by my dealer that a vibration noise when accelerating is normal for my 2011 Aveo. Anyone else have this problem? It's QUITE annoying. I've owned Chevy's most of my life. This may be my LAST Chevy. I'm fed up.

what kind of vibration? what have you driven before?
Check on the exhaust pipe under the motor. I literally just found a round piece that was just floating between the catalytic converter(i think) and a braided heat shield when I was changing my oil. It looks like it might be supposed to hold the end of that braided heat shield. Since I could not get it to stay put anywhere, I just cut it off with some tin snips. Figured its better to get rid of it now before eventually it wears a hole in the exhaust.
I havent driven it yet, but I am confident my rattle is gone.
Thanks. The ONLY time I hear it is when accelerating. It's more like a buzz than a rattle.
They kept it for a day but didn't fix the noise. It almost sounds like it's in the dash.
GM has basically told me tough luck. I have purchased/leased 7 new Chevy's in the last 9 years. So much for customer appreciation.
Some noises are just there, thought there are not many, where is it coming from, the dash/engine is too general. If it is under any sort of acceleration, I would look at the intake pieces to see if any thing it moving (you can have some one rev the car while in park or neutral to see if you can find the specific area. Any stealership will give you the run around, no matter the company, they just want money.
