Voltage at the camshaft position sensor

I was hoping that someone here might have the voltage specification at the connector for the camshaft position sensor. I’m trying to see if I have another bad camshaft sensor or if I have an issue with my wires going to the sensor from the ECM.. thanks in advance

Well I'm not sure what the specific voltages should be, but usually will oscillate between 0 and 5V, like all of them. Testing continuity in the wires should be pretty easy though. Just unplug the ECU harness, locate the pin and just put your multimeter to continuity or test resistance. Are you getting any error codes?

Locating the correct pin for the harness feeding the camshaft position sensor is overwhelming.. lol
Yes I am getting the code po340 which points to a bad sensor.. I was just trying to make sure that it wasn’t in the wire harness or ECM.. I will say that the last sensor was purchased from Amazon and I read somewhere that they are known for selling crappie parts.. I guess I should buy a better brand sensor and replace it.

Check your local parts store, they might have something better quality in stock.
