Water leaking into passenger floorboard after carwash...

I have a 2004 Aveo, took it a couple weeks a go to a typical automated carwash, noticed as I was pulling out that there was a fair amount of water spilling into the passenger side floorboard from somewhere behind the dash. After I vac'd the water out and was driving home, I could hear a bit of sloshing coming from the same area behind the dash. Anyone experienced this and know what to look for? Someone told me it was the a/c drain, would it matter that I have a model with no a/c at all? Thanks in advance!

Most aveos came ac ready. So you most likely have the evaporator in the dash. This sounds like it was water rushing into the fresh air intake for the vent system which is in your rain tray. Car washes have a way of putting water will it will not normally go even when driving 65mph in the rain. I had an audi tt that would leak like crazy in the high pressure car washes.

I would possibly check to see if there is a problem within the rain tray. But I would just not use the car wash and see if it ever happens again under normal conditions
