another way to look at it:
$600 for a complete basic bolt on height adjustable coil over kit with matched dampening about the same amount just for springs and kyb gr2's (which although "better" than stock are in no way considered a performance upgrade for any car but an aveo.

Hahahahaha
Re: What aftermarket parts would you like to see?
but i live in canada, the aveo is my daily driver, summer and winter, the amount of salt they put on the roads in nova scotia is crazy, so the adjustability would become useless within the first winter and i'd be stuck at that height for ever aftert that, so what' the point, might as well pay only $130 instead of $600 since it will turn out to be the same

I know right? Common sense would tell suspension companies that if they offer lowering springs, they should probably offer a shock for them that won't blow out after 50K.
Going with aftermarket shock is still highly recommended, even if it's not a specifically "lowering" shock... You will see an improvement in ride quality, especially when going over bumps on the road at high speeds... aftermarket gas shocks stabilize the car both ways, not just one way like our OEM shocks do.
As for the main thread question, I would like to see a turbo kit (not a make-it-yourself eBay kit, but an actual Aveo-specific kit), four-disk brake conversion kit (with larger diameter wheels).
Different design projection headlights with better optics, like the ones Acura TL uses...
And like it's been said earlier in the thread, cheaper US made anti-roll bars. The most expensive part about UltraRacing part is the shipping cost to have them delivered stateside... if you look at the prices of the bars on Malaysian eBay -they're dirt cheap. I asked them why it's so expensive to ship them to US and they said that most of it is non-negotiable air-cargo charge.... I'm sure that someone can make the same if not better product here and sell it for less than what it costs to have it shipped here.
Re: What aftermarket parts would you like to see?
aftermarket projectors will never be as high quality as oem. Even high quality oem replacements are not as goo as oem. thats why an oem headlight costs like $300-600 while the aftermarket is like $150 for a pair.
As for almost everything else everyone is looking for, solutions are on their way this summer.

glad to hear that man! Looking forward to it. And good point on the price difference. You have teams of engineers designing the OEM projectors... so they gotta get paid, but like they say - you get what you pay for. :) If they made OEM projector factory upgrade for an Aveo - I'd buy that in a heartbeat. :)
Re: What aftermarket parts would you like to see?
I dont believe aftermarket tails for the sedans will come out seeing as there isnt a demand for them. Since most people have hatches.
Re: What aftermarket parts would you like to see?
I've been searching for a stainless mesh grill insert, just to spruce up the front end. It's already a good looking car, but i want mine to really stand out.
Re: What aftermarket parts would you like to see?
they had some on ebay for the 1st gen aveo, but if you debadge the front of the chrome it looks, though im not a fan of chrome to began with, but ebay is your place
Re: What aftermarket parts would you like to see?
90% of whats been said here is available if you know where to look
If i was able to turn my Aveo into what it is today, anyone can.
