Yikes. So do you know the first four?
Sorry Metrompg took a while to get back to the answer. I will say that my data might be outdated since I can't find any flight deck job on any list. So I will just day that I have one of the most dangerous professions in america :angel4: I will post a top ten in the open forum just for kicks 8)
Re: WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING
theclarkfam, you gotta add though that most people that get hurt on the flight deck weren't supposed to be there to begin with or just didn't follow common sense/safety rules and stood too close to the foul line... There are a few of the cases when people who've been up on there for too long loose their sense of urgency and get caught off guard, but majority of the cases is the people who never make it up there get out just to "see what's going on/see what it's like" and don't follow someone who knows what they're doing.
Re: WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING
 Thank you for that add on and you just hit it on the nail. You will always hear "get out of the port catwalk" calls forever.
Re: WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING
Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum. Just looking at the topics, and I wanted to reply to this one. I'm actually an elementary school teacher (3rd grade) and I live in Aruba. And I really love my job

I work for Carlile Transportation a.k.a "Ice Road Truckers". I'm a Heavy Equipment Operator/Yard Supervisor or Foreman, however you want to word it. I also instruct and teach people how to operate a variety of heavy equipment machines and certify them for OSHA licenses. My every day job though is to build and secure flatbed loads of freight out of our Fairbanks, Alaska terminal. It's a very challenging, demanding and rewarding job. I enjoy it most days. I don't have very much time to work on my cars.

OSHA is pretty boring... We're taking OSHA 30 right now for the Welding Training Program I'm in... I like the actual welding though. That's the reason I haven't been posting lately.
And after this training is over, God willing, I'll have another trade - Welder in a Pipe Fitting industry... Might be moving from WA though, so I might see some of you over there down South/over East... I really have no idea where they'll place me, there's a very slim chance that I'll stay here since all the jobs are located in mid-east-south U.S.

Tons of work for welders and pipe-fitters up here in good ol' Alaska. I've been working pretty hard with this company called ENI lately. They're an Italian based oil company that we're teaming up with to hit first oil in 2010.
