" avoided any "tech" sector degrees for fear of something of that happening, I am getting my BA in accounting and then hopefully my masters after that, then I want to branch off to economics or marketing.

I work at winn dixie still, but at my old store, we started cracking down on theft, sure was fun lol

Hi, I'm new member. I'm retired from mainframe computing. It's time to replace the timing belt in my wife's 2005 for the 2nd time. I'm doing it myself so I found this site while researching how-to. My wife loves the car, and to be honest I also like it. We were at our Chevy dealer to replace our 'burb. My wife saw the car and wanted it for her commuter car. Having once driven an "Aspire" from Ford, I did not want it because I figured it could not get out of it's own way. She talked me into a test drive and I was sold! It might not get the best gas mileage of the available small cars, but I can buy a LOT of gas for the 15 to 20 thousand difference in price. I'm a Camaro guy with a '94 (with very few original drivetrain parts - still a stock LT1) and an '02' LE SS. I also have a '95' Z28 which is my track only drag car on which I do most of the work after it was built. Yeah, back when I had a nice income before I was laid off and decided to retire.

Hi, Yes I try to be friends with all even if they don't own an AVEO. I understand he is looking to buy one though. I do own an AVEO ('05) and found this site looking for information to change my timing belt myself. My wife loves the car and drove it for work. BTW, we have 112,000 on the car. My wife is now working at home, so I have time to fix it. I have the timing belt uncovered and I'm at the step to mark the belt before removing it. Yeah, I could wait a few more thousand miles, but I don't want to take the chance. It's too Day_um cold in the Houston area to work on it today. I'll be back to it when it warms up this week.
