Casino work is a job. Pending on where you are and personality, the enjoyment of the job will vary.
Burn out can be bad. In the recession we are in, it is a job that can pay well based on your personal idea of what good pay is. Hours are stable, pending on where a person works.

I work at KFC as a fryer.

I'm in the Navy Reserve been so for 5 years

And I work once in a while at a Nordstrom Distribution Center through a temp agency. Ironically the only place I'm not hired full and they pay the best.

Even though I have 3 jobs I still have a lot of time off of work, but that gets filled by the rest of my life, the Aveo gets regular maintenance and my boredom time.
