Almost done installing the rear view camera system. But, I need to find the light-green wire that feeds 12 vts to the backup lights or is there a feed from the automatic trans reverse?
Anyone know where the light-green wire might run from the front to the rear? Down the center? along the floor left side?

why dont you just tap it right off the light itself.
it would be located right off the tail light, or look in the fuse block right off the reverse light fuse?
Trouble is I've already buttoned up the install and (I know, duh) don't want to run another wire from the rear to the front. My Pioneer head unit has a wire ready to hook up at the front so if I could find the proper lead some where near the front that would be so very welcomed.
Worse case scenario is to add a switch on the dash nearest the shifter to activate the darn thing.
Tap into a 12v switched wire and put a microswitch mounted to the shifter. That way when it is in reverse, it will close the contact and turn it on.
the reverse switch is typically right on top of the transmission near the shift linkage. I would either tap it there (if you are comfortable with that) or trace the wires back to the firewall and tap into where it goes to the fuse block (or comes out)
