Where to get Aveo-specific vacuum line fittings?

The vacuum line to my MAP sensor broke a while back. I got new tubing and elbow fittings from AutoZone (it's within walking distance). Now the elbow at the sensor split. It's a bit small - the sensor fitting measures about 1/4 inch, which is about 6 mm. The largest elbow at AZ is about 4 mm.

Where can I get the right vacuum fittings for the Aveo?

You're just looking for a barbed elbow fitting? Pretty much any hardware store should have one.

No, Sir. I'm looking for the rubber elbow fittings at either end of the MAP sensor vacuum line. These are soft rubber, 1/8 in female x 1/4 in female. They will stretch over the hard plastic 1/4 in barbs at either end, and receive the 1/8 in vacuum line.

You can see photos in post #10 of https://www.aveoforum.com/forum/f108...gnition-22697/

Ah, gotcha. I'd make up my own rubber lines with 1/8" rubber hose going to a barbed reducer coupling going from 1/4" to 1/8", then use 1/4" rubber hose to connect the other end. It won't be pretty, but it will work.

Alternatively, you could go to a dealer and get that rubber hose possibly.

As Admin said, you can make your own fittings using rubber hoses. I had same problem, but in my case, since I have LPG system under the hood, I needed to have enough room, so nothing rubs against each other. I bought from the dealer correct part, i.e. nylon hose with two fittings, one for MAP sensor and the other for intake manifold. The correct number part is 96451064, it is called PIPE A-VACUUM.
