So far, who has the highest mileage Aveo (etc) and what has your experience been with the car: mileage, reliability, etc.

Now to update my last mileage I'm at 149000 miles. To see someone clock in at over 200K makes me very happy and makes me feel as it I'll hit that mark also!

      258,000 miles / 415,000 km

Time for another preventative timing belt replacement. Car doesn't burn a drop of oil. I must say my initial reservation back in 2007 of buying a Korean built car has been evaporated in the 218K miles I've put on this car since I bought used with 40K miles on it. I have a stack of receipts about 2" thick of all normal wear and tear items I've had to replace, and lots of oil and filter change receipts. Still have original exhaust, clutch, alternator, starter, and radiator, although there is a can of Bars-Leak I've used which successfully sealed my heater core failure last winter. I'm just looking to squeak out another winter if possible. Hopefully I've not jinxed myself by typing this post. Just wanted to share my overall satisfaction with my Aveo in the last 6 years. Needless to say I would buy another Korean car in a heartbeat.

My 2009 just hit 178K miles as I brought her for her oil change last saturday with a little planning. Still have the 2135 code that the dealer keeps pushing the wiring harness replacement to the tune of big money in my mind. I dont see why this is not a recall type thing. wiring harnesses are not normal wear and tear type items. It usually goes away in the summer so we will see. My wife wont even ride with me as it must always be reset. When toyota bought my tacoma back from me with the frame rust issue I said chevy or ford would never do that !!!!!! they would say buy another frame !!! Otherwise running ok

My '07 hit 226,000 last week. I'm the original owner and haven't had any issues with it what so ever.

131,000 km - changed timing belt yesterday and water pump. Radio doesn't work right when its cold, other than that no major issues, knock on wood.
