Who has the most miles/kms on their Aveo/Kalos/Wave/Barina/Swift+

Approaching 99,000 miles! Serpentine and timing belts replaced. Suspension is a little creaky during the winter months and engine drips about a drop of oil a day but otherwise the car is doing great. Not too much to complain about. Hoping to get it to 200,000 miles!

I have about (2006) 140,000 miles. Bought mine at 18k in Nov 2011 and of course the check engine light came on as soon as I left the lot. Turns out I needed a new catalytic converter, but did not have to pay a thing for that. There was this one time I Had to fix a oil leak somewhere and at the same time I changed the Air filter and spark plugs which ran me 500 in the hole. Also, car overheated and had to replace the thermostat, but I was covered under warranty.

My aveo vibrates a little and I still trying to rule out a couple of things, but other than that I have no problems and I do keep up with the regular scheduled maintenance

2005 Aveo at 151,000 only because Ive do all my own repairs and can honestly still say the car is JUNK and poorly made with a Chevy logo.

have an 08 with 148500 on the clock...should be at 150 at the end of the month....

2007 hatchback basic model 120,000 miles havent replaced anything has not broke down once well except for now the front end suspension is f***ed

Dont be so quick to pat yourself or GM on the back Vanessa. These cars with high mileage are only around because people either throw money at the repairs or they know how to work on them like me. If I wouldve taken my car to the dealership every time something went wrong I would have $20,000 in repairs easy for a $9,000 car. Most Aveos never see over 80,000 miles as can be seen on E-Bay for car parts. Oh sure the car body looks good in the pics but its the car parts that are being sold because the motor is trashed. Dont believe me look up used fuel pumps or any other used part on e-bay and they will show you a pic of the car and the miles. Anything sitting in a junk yard with less than 125,000 miles due to a blown motor that isnt a totaled body is a shame.

Would you mind to tell us what parts do you repairs and how often they repairs?

There are atleast 8 aveos in our local scrap yard, only one was totaled in a collision. The rest all either a blown engine or tranny, none of them made it to 150,000 km
