North America usually gets only one engine choice (no choice at all, really): the largest optional gasoline engine that the other markets have.

He did, but that's the Euro spec car. Who knows what they'll stick in the North American version.

Probably the same engine thats in the aveo lol. But i would like to test drive the spark to see its capabilites first hand. If i trade my aveo in it would be for the 2012 aveo though.

No trades here. My Aveo is almost payed off. If I get anything else, it's gonna be a bike, boat, EVO VIII, hot rod, or M3.

I like the looks of the car, but the loss on the trade-in and to make more payments, is not worth it.

Re: Would you consider buying a Chevy Spark?

Looking at the picture and watching the first half of the video, I had only one question in mind: where are the rear door handles? But from the looks of it later on realized they're in the pillars.

And about buying a Chevy Spark? Probably would consider buying it, but when it's 1-2 years old... one, to see if it has any major problems, and two, so it comes down to it's "true" value.

Re: Would you consider buying a Chevy Spark?

If they put a 1.0 ltr 3 cyl in there I would buy it ! Nice looking little car. I would want a better mileage engine then the 1.6 though. This engine is a challenge to get great numbers out of. It would be nice to have a car that has that potential off the bat. It worked for geo! Now smart has great potenial as well. This Spark would offer a better package then those though with the nicer roomy cab and updated 2000's digital dash! think they will be all over the road if the price and engine are a good fit for this car. Kinda looks similar to the Honda Fit in a way.
