Wait, are they sending you money without having inspected the car first??
Do they know about the unibody damage?

I had some damage to the back of my 2005 Aveo hatchback the insurance company totaled it gave me a check for $2,700 and that was after buying the Salvage back for $495... thought it was pretty awesome especially after pain just that $2,000 for the car.
Make sure they pay you fair market value for the vehicle plus whatever money you put into it... tires, title, taxes, xcetra.
I used there photo estimate app, I just got back the estimate today. There offering me $2,372.80 sound about right?
It says that if there is some additional repairs that are needed they will compensate
I think I should probably have it inspected too right?

getting off the subject a little ,but where in the world did you find a trailer hitch for an Aveo i have a 2011 and need one for my bbq smoker but cannot find one!
In most states it is still illegal for insurance to issue you a check for n estimate with just pictures.
What state are you in?
Oldchub: how did your damaged Aveo story turn out?
