P0300 just as Rabbit mentioned. I've tried just about everything but the relearn procedure to get rid of it.

Well like I mentioned the knock
Sensors are different in te schematic
      And part numbers too.
That def would send a false knock signal back to the PCM and retard timing with low power. Did you put your original KS on or use the one from newer motor?

That is one of the few sensors I haven't replaced from the old engine.

You know, I might have changed it. I can't remember. I swapped almost every sensor on the dang thing. I'll try swapping it again though.

the difference in the sensors could be signal voltages, etc as well. Not just physical dimensions.

but if the crank ring is the same, then the block should be swappable, there was one other member here who did the swap, i dont think he had the p0300 code. But he had a code still, so it might have been.

have you guys had any findings yet? im new to the site and im having the same problem! 06 aveo swapped with an 07 motor! replaced coil pack and 02 sensor still getting the flashing light. runs perfect. believe me when a 4 cyl has a misfire you know. Ive been driving this for a couple months now and nothings changed! even had the dealer check it out and after 185 bucks and tested fuel injectors they couldnt even figure it out. they wanted me to give them another 400 to check the valves.. WTF please tell me what you think. You think if i got an 07 cpu and put it in would make a difference?

      same as this post! 300, 302 303

Last time scanned i picked up an 02 sensor code too. replaced sensor not more more then a month and a half ago. Im sure you guys are on the right path with a relearn procedure but how do you do it? the dealer i took mine too was dumbfounded. I continue to keep driving it because it runs perfect. I just hate cel flashing at me and i think im gettting a poor fuel econ too. Bout to take the cel bulb out or put some tape over it. I have 190k on the aveo and about 20k on the 07 motor<
