2.0l suziki engine swap help

I'm sure this has been posted b4 for but having issues finding good info I have a 2005 aveo and I want to swap a 2.0l from a forenza what do I need to do I want to keep my transmission Bc it's stick so mounts pcm connections header or can I just drop it in and go

find nemasys n shoot him a PM, or search daewootech.com for info. Im not sure if the trans has the same bolt pattern though, I got a second gen. I do know if u can find a sonic/cruze1.8 engine , ecu , and wiring harness u will be able to bolt it to ur trans as all aveo manuals r the same. A 1.8 with intake , headers and tune can get u near 160 flywheel hp. Keep us posted on ur progress...

I just searched for ya, the 2.o blots to ur stock trans, still uses the stock wiring harness, uses the same aveo motor mounts, but u need to plug up the forenza 2.0 ecu.

From what i hear, your stock trans and clutch won't hold up long with the 2.0.

FYI daewootech.com domain name got taken over by someone else who essentially tried to hike the price and sell it back to the original owner... As you would notice the last post on the site in somewhere in August 2013...

Owner tried to setup new domain at Daewootech.com and it was going OK for a while.... but now there seems to be problems with that site too. Not to mention when the switch was made, very few people even knew about it..
