      2.2 ecotec swap

Hello I recently bought a salvaged 2007 Pontiac g5 auto tranny with 20 000 miles on the clock for 500$ and I want to put the 2.2 ecotec engine in my 2005 Pontiac wave 5 door auto tranny. I know the ecotec is a very different engine but a lot more reliable and more powerful too. I saw some ecotec swap for the aveo and I have some question.

1- what I need to change to fit the ecotec cv joint in the car. both car have 4 lug hubs
2- What I need to do to do for the electronic to make it work in the car.
3- does my wave radiator and fuel pump are compatible with the ecotec engine

I have all the skill to custom build my engine mount and transmission mount and fit all the acessory needed to fit the ecotec engine right in the engine bay. My interrogations are those above. Thanks !

      Salut, carzboyz.

Unfortunately, not a lot of engine swaps done to this car. There are 2 swaps in our modifications / customizations list.

You might be the pioneer for this particular swap.
