2005 Aveo Will not idle stalls right after start

When I start the car it instantly dies this can be done over and over. The only way to keep the car running is to push on the accelerator and holding at low rpms it chugs, there is also the light smell of sulfur from exhaust (fireworks).
There are no codes showing up.
Things I have done

• Changed CAT
• replaced both upstream and downstream o2 sensor
• replaced sparkplugs
• tried new sparkplug wires
• installed new emc
• new fuel pump
• new alternator
• new battery
• new map sensor
• changed fuel injectors

The car was at a mechanic less then 2 months ago a compression test show 200psi static 120 running and 60psi at fuel rail. They replaced some vacuum lines. removed and cleaned throttle body tested the map sensor. At that time it was showing code p0300. they advised a new EMC.

Car has 70k miles on it.
Any thoughts would be a great help thankyou.

As I understand it, there is supposed to be a computer controlled idle valve in the throttle body. Disconnect the control wire and it defaults the idle valve to full open (and probably throws a code). You could try that and see if the idle works.

It might also be worth it to check the timing belt and see if it's jumped a tooth. Some people have reported it running rough when that happens.
