      2008 Aveo engine changes?

Apparently the engine on the 2008 Aveo is a "LXT", not L91, and the max torque RPM has changed from 3600 to 3400. No other specs seem to have changed, and since 2008 model isn't up on the official Chevy site yet I can't tell for sure if the various sites that had the 2008 models are correct.

According the Gm the upgrades on the 2008 chevy aveo are cosmetic and it will be redesigned ( engine upgrades) in either 2009 or 2010.

so i was at the chevy dealership checking out wat they're doing with aveo's. and alot of them have new wheels on them. like i mentioned they're doing their own "sports appearance package". but this is what got me...

sticker fuel economy on the 08 hatch.....24/34...that was the best rating of the new aveo's. sedans had lower. and LS's had even lower. an LS sedan had something like 23/32 and believe me...the look of shock on my face is definitely something i didn't want ppl to see...

but at least they'll selling the new 07's for 7950...

The MPG is related to the new testing procedures which are much more accurate BTW
