We have not had this car long. MY wife was starting out on a long journey, got 100 miles and the car overheated.

It looks like the radiator is leaking and she lost all coolant, but first she new was when the temperature gauge went sky high.

New radiator is no problem.

But, the breakdown man (who's now organising recovery) thinks the head gasket has gone.

Is that a big job, but more importantly is it likely to have done any damage like warped the head?
