If you have a USA/Canada 2009-2011 Aveo, the PCV valve is attached to the underside of the valve cover. You have to remove the valve cover to replace the PCV valve. It may just be easier to buy a brand new valve cover that comes complete with gasket and PCV valve. But since you have already bought the part, then it looks like you'll need to buy a new valve cover gasket too.
