2009 LS Sedan. 5 speed. Needs upstream O2 sensor. Where is it? Thanks!

Hi, I have the sensor. I am on my way to pick up an o2 sensor socket. Is this the sensor I see when I open the hood? If it's that one I will do it. If not I may not. I welcome any good advice. Thanks!!!! Marc

Not positive about the '09, but expect it would be the same as earlier years, which would be located by the manifold shield. No need to buy a socket unless you want to own one - Autozone has a loan-a-tool available (buy then return for full refund). Did you get the "exact fit" sensor? If not you will need to rewire the connector. Not a big deal, but exact fit is much faster and usually costs around the same.
