Question 2010 Aveo 5 LT Auto to Manual conversion

I've started acquiring the pieces I need to make my 2010 AVEO 5 LT a manual. I was hoping someone might have a complete list of the pieces I would need so I don't miss anything. I looked around but all of the posts are super outdated. I don't know if anyone is taking me serious since I'm a noobie poster but serious input would be greatly appreciated. Currently my car is sitting on blocks because the transmission stopped working. I replaced it with a newer one and still no luck. Car sounds like it shifts into gear but nothing moves. I'm thinking that if I swap it, not only do I get to drive a stick when I'm done but I replace most of the stuff under the hood. So basically an overhaul of my poor car. It has a ton of sentimental value so I would really like to push to keep this car. I have all the time in the world to fix it since I work part time and go to school part time my schedule is open. I also plan on posting pictures and updates as I go along.

Good luck on your conversion. It's something I would not do. However since my left knee is killing me (injury) that auto transmission is looking better.
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....

I saw an other one of your posts. If you have a new transmission in your car, I would focus on getting that working before you attempt the complicated swap to a manual. The replacement should be a no brainer and should be working. So figure out what you did wrong first before trying to up your skill level.

BTW that was my thousandth post. yeah!

he Will need a Flywheel; because Auto cars use a Flexplate with the Torque Converter acting as the flywheel.
