2010 Timing belt replacement

Got my 2010 Aveo LT safety inspection done a couple days ago and the mechanic suggested replacing the timing belt soon. It's at 80,000 miles. Looking online for a guide and only seem to be finding guides for 2006 or earlier. Noticed the water pump is different on 2010. Is the 2010 water pump not driven by the timing belt, but instead the serpentine? Any other differences i should know about, or special tools needed before i consider attempting myself?

The service interval for the timing on the 09+ US models is 100,000 miles. They are not known to break early, either.

The OP has a 2010, which is the same year as Mine; and I have the Gen III Ecotec engine (RPO LXV) which the water pump is driven by the Serpentine Drive Belt.
