A12xer vs B14xer

Serching after a "new" engine but the price for a A12xer is around 500€ more than a B14xer (that have driving les miles)
Is it only the size 1.2 vs 1.4 that are diff on those ?

I'm guessing the fuel consumption in the A12 would be lower than in the A14/B14.

I really don't know much about the B14s (I have never seen one), but seem to be the very similar to the A14s...

My understanding of them is that they ave very similar, but I would expect at a minimum you would have to have the ECU coded for the increase in fuel injector output, among other sensors unless you plan on replacing the ECU and wiring harness as well.
