Beginning to sound too difficult to even try. But, on the other hand, I can be pretty stubborn too.

Just out of curiosity what is your definition of "quite a bit of pipe"??? Regardless of how much RWH any sport bike is putting out, I wouldn't recommend installing any of their cans on a car simply because you are talking about completely different engine set-ups. If motorcycle and car mufflers were interchangable, don't you think that more people would be switching them out. If you do go with it, post up pictures of the damage done to your engine.... good luck bro....

they are interchangable its only pipe. you won't damage anything switching to motorcycle mufflers, unless you choose the wrong sizing. (ie way too small)

lots of people do it, its just a matter of what "culture" you are in. when most kids and "looks" people go for the big coffee can ricer tip. a motorcycle exhaust doesn't give you that. plus those can be had cheaper than bike mufflers.

performance people who have the money to spend typically buy a whole system, or spend the money on what works and is proven in the car industry. very few people drive cars with less than a 2.0 without a turbo looking for just bolt on mods for a car that doesn't have an after market,

My buddy has a 1.8L VW Golf with a snowmobile muffler on it right now. He's been running it that way for about a year and it runs just fine. I believe it came off a Polaris 800cc RMK. Sounds wicked!

its pretty quiet still, its rates at 80db. but it flows better, you can feel the rpms going up a little faster. And it does at times sound like a sport bike..

i will post a video or something once someone comes over who can record it.
