What do you mean there's no turbo?

kind of hard to get pictures of this:

its a good thing i checked though, because now with the cold air intake, the added exhaust flow is kind of melting the bumper at the edge of the cut.. uh oh..

Just put a chrome turn-down tip on it, that should help.

Re: Any how-to custom exhaust articles?

I want a performance muffler that wont cost me over $50, doesn't look rice, and is as quiet as stock if not a little louder, but not much. Anyway I can get a sound clip from anyone that has put a performance muffler on and not taken or moded any other part of the original exhaust? Thanks in advance!!

Good luck. Fart cans are like 40 bucks. I think autozone and shucks sell ok magnaflow mufflers for like 80.

Read the decibel (Db) on the muffler. the lower the decibel the quieter the muffler.

this is your best bet in your price range:

i would recommend (based on the shape of our stock muffler a side entry, and the opposite side exit and run the muffler sideways under the car. so the exhaust drops down like the stock muffler does (if you look you will be able to see what i mean)

That's what I am looking for, how would that sound? I don't want anything that's loud and annoying lol.

Re: Any how-to custom exhaust articles?

with the rest of the exhaust there, i don't think it will be loud, even with a straight pipe.

you will probably be able to hear that muffler, but it wouldn't be annoying in any way. i haven't run that particular muffler, i have used the thrush turbo, which wasn't too loud, and the muffler posted above is their quieter version.
