Any how-to custom exhaust articles?

there was a "noticeable" difference in acceleration after i swapped out my stock muffler. plus the weight difference was impressive.

with the muffler swapped, and then adding a cold air intake (any intake really) really brought out the engines performance.

So, did you just follow the Daewoo article and replace your muffler?


Is it feasable to pick up all of the parts at our local parts store to get an exhaust done?

i pick up all the parts to do a custom (but cheap) exhaust at the local store all the time.

i didn't see a DIY, i just lay under the car and make the new pipe go where it needs to.

Want to attempt this get rid of some un needed stuff.

But nervous to screw around and waste money. Don't want to take her into an exhaust shop and get in trouble because I left something out.

if you mean emissions trouble check your laws. around here you need one cat and one muffler, so typically for a hp swap i take everything else out.
