Aveo 1.2 petrol 2010 gearbox replacement

I just purchased Aveo 1.2 petrol. Unfortunately gearbox went. I did some research and looks like those gearboxes are rare and expensive. Does anyone did swap for gearbox from different model like chevrolet spark or 1.4 Aveo engine, maybe Vauxhall? I'm ready to do some modifications if necessary. Thanks

on ebay you should be able to find a gearbox from 150 pounds up
