Hi I was wondering if the 1.5litre 8valve e-tec II motor will handle NOS?
Nothing over the top maybe just a 50hp shot.
Is there anyone that can give me some info. thanks

I dont know about just setting a 50 shot kit on there and having it work perfectly, but "any" engine can run nos with some tuning, and adjustment. Even a lawnmower.
As long as you run a wet kit (gas mixes with nitrous as it injects into the manifold) then yes it should handle a 50 shot relatively well.

- HKS SSQV, OBX Wastegate
- FMIC with 2.5" piping
- Tuned with Megasquirt II v3.57
Thanks, so a wet kit is best, How will I up the fuel pressure to supply the jets? with a AFPR?

do you want more pressure for more gas? if your just piecing the system together you could just add a 5th injector. Again not "right," but would work.
you can go either way, depending on how you wire in the nos, it could flip the pressure up or turn on the 5th injector.
There is no way to increase fuel pressure since the regulator is in the tank (you would have to convert to return fuel system) but the stock fuel system is more then capable of providing you with the required fuel to run the 50 shot, hell im running the stock 1.6L fuel pump on a 2.0L turbo engine.
You just have to find a way to add the required fuel, additional injectors is a good idea, i think most kits come with somekind of system to tap into the stock fuel rail and inject fuel as the nitrous is being injected at the same time.
Here is a good example, this a friend of mine's MX-3. He is running a Zex Nitrous wet kit.
As you can see he has 2 sets of injections. The blue nozzles inject pure nitrous and the red nozzles inject fuel. Controlled by the little purple box in the upper right near the strut tower. I havent looked closely at his kit, but thats how it works, there must be a way to control the fuel/nitrous ratio, so it should be pretty easy to tune if you have a wideband to keep an eye on air/fuel mix.
