Whats that box on top the engine from the T to the intake? why does it keep poping when under aceleration?
The box on top of the engine is an intercooler. When air is compressed it heats up, the intercooler cools it back down to prevent pinging/detonation and increases power output. Its also not hooked up to a tee, thats the turbocharger.
It keeps popping because you build up pressure with the turbocharger and when you close the throttle the pressurized air has to go somewhere. That is what a blow off valve is for, it releases the pressure.
