Where is the smoke in the engine bay coming from? Its kinda hard to see.... Can you smell coolant for sure in the smoke and/or has the level gone down significantly?

Its hard to tell where the smoke is coming from in the engine bay, your guess is as good as mine, but i did find a bit of oil on the fuel rail.
I cant say if its taking alot of coolant or not since the engine has run less then 5 minutes since it happened, it happened on the street behind my house so i was 30 secs away from home when it happened, i just drove back home and shut it down immediately.

Had to fax more papers yesterday for the 3, its looking good tho. Should have a definite answer today or tomorow.
I might keep the aveo and slowly fix it up, just that playing with modified cars doesnt interest me as much as it used to. There are other places to put this kind of money. Ive been craving for a motorbike for a while now too, but its impossible with the money im putting into the aveo.
But having a second car will most definitely help me work on the aveo better as it wont be my daily driver anymore.
Its much too early to tell at this point.

Hey, why not go straight for MAZDASPEED3... 2.3 turbo with 6 speed doesn't sound too bad... besides the price tag that is...
2006 Chevrolet Aveo a.k.a. Holden Barina – SOLD
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/TC - SOLD
I would, but like you said the price tag, and the fact that my girl doesnt want anything to do with a turbo, she actually hates my aveo for having one lol
The car will also be for her, shes learning to drive and wants something easy to learn with.

MS3 its easy to learn and get used to with all that extra power IMO.

I hate the 1st gen MS3's powerband. Its like driving a granny's car then all of a sudden it turns into a rocket powered go-kart.
The power band is awefull, if you floor it at 1500 rpms you get nothing until around 3k rpm then it pulls like crazy until 5500-5800 rpms then the power severely drops off past that.
Suposedly they redid the engine management for the 2nd gen and the power band is much more linear with better top end, i havent driven the new gen so i cant say for sure. I cant afford a 40 grand car either so test driving it would just make it worse lol
Granted i would kill to be able to have a 2010 Mazdaspeed 3, but it might be overkill for my girl
