Aveo chip tuning

is there any of you who try to chip tune your Aveo and how did it go?

Good question. I have seen these chips for like $39 on EBay and other sites, that are 'plug and play',no hooking up your laptop and programming it....it just says, install this chip and you will get 39 extra horsepower, and 5 more mpg. Something like that. But then I went and saw on YouTube, and these guys bought chips on EBay, from like Russia, and they were just wires in a tiny chip,connected to nothing! They just lit up a tiny light on the chip. Thats about it, after saying 'you'll get 39 HP and 10 extra MPG' something like that. Since it looks like I am keep my Aveo, does anyone have one put in, and have a reliable site to go to, to buy one? That doesnt screw up the main computer?

Those are not actual performace chips, all they do is change voltages to tell the vehicle to use x amount of fuel and x amount of air
