Aveo Diesel - Error Code 89

Hello, you must ask your dealer to take contact with Chevrolet Moldova. The solution has to come from Chevrolet Europe.
Don't worry all the new Aveo's are for the moment under warranty; so the solution has to come form the constructor.

My Dealer from Moldova don't know anything about this error. I am afraid that this can be some mechanical trouble. One guy from Russia said that he had the same error, trouble was in radiator cooler that wasn't connected. I will try this tomorrow on dealer service.

Last Friday, after having been to the dealer almost a month, we got the car back with a new engine, and today error code 89 popped right back up Our dealer is clueless. Are you sure about the software update? The car is even worse now, no pull and uses too much diesel. We are so tired of this.

I will ask my dealer, because I swapt the Aveo in mid June for a brand new Chevrolet Cruze SW LTZ diesel.
The dealer would do the reprogramming afer the take-over; it is somthing with injectors. More details later.

Now, it was my own decision and i can tell you the Cruze compared to the Aveo it is a completely different car.
130 hp for the Cruze to 95 hp for the Aveo and the fuel consumption is the same around 5,2 l / 100 km.
