Anyway, hope you enjoy the additional horses release and smoothness without the cat.

did you mean to put a K in there? your tax rates are insane, what are labor rates like?Originally Posted by xiaogary
Your gas prices are cheaper then the US! And actually your insurance rates are about the same as Americans with a "not-so-good" record. The parking price is about the same in major US cities and so are your tolls, or what you call gantry. So really the only difference from both of sinapore and here is how much you pay for the car itself and your licensing (still a huge piece though).
Oh and the header looks great. I think I might have to get one sometime in the next few months
unlike the Americans and the British, the rest of the world measures liquid quantities in liters. one US gallon is 3.79 liters. Therefore he pays about $5.70/gallon. Just thought I might clear things up a little.
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.
he said 98 octane too though...Originally Posted by ontarian_frog

I know for a fact that the British octane measurement is different from American's. Their 98 is our 91-92
Octane ratings in North America differ from the ratings World Wide also. In The US and Canada the octane is rated in AKI (An Average of RON and MON) where as most of the rest of the world is in RON (Research Octane Number). In short, 98 octane in Singapore is the same as 93 octane here in North America. Right now, 93 octane here is about $0.75USD/L. or about 2.84/gallon.Originally Posted by loose

Ops, I am sorry abt that. Maybe I am too enthusiatic to share my country with you. Haha. Anyway, I had a nice stay here. And will continue to stay here.
Labour rates are expensive (abt $25US per hour), that is why a lot of car owners drive up north through a 1.5km bridge to Johor Bahru (Malaysia) to service their car. The labour rate there is way cheaper. Our (not educated) mechanic here earns abt $800US a month. A Malaysian mechanic (not educated also) earns abt $400US a month. So naturally, servicing there will be cheaper. A university grad here starting salary is abt $2-2.5kUS.
Back to the headers. Haha.
Wow I wish we had labor rates of $25/hr! A dealership usually charges $75-$95 an hour, and independent garages anywhere from $40-$60 on average....Originally Posted by xiaogary
