those are looking good. Im sure you have nothing to worry about with the quality. You cant generalize the workmanship of an entire nation.

i meant wage rate. your prices seems, comparable or higher to the US, how are people in general paid? is there a min wage?
is there a header for sale?
and the country is not what determines the quality, it is the person/company getting the parts manufactured. the expensive high quality pieces are many in taiwan and singapore too. but its the cheap knockoffs everyone compares to the country.
look to see where K&N filters are made (i dont know) but it probably isnt the US.
What I meant when I said that was because it was most likely also designed in Singapore as well as made there. And the part they make usually isn't intended for other countries (i.e. designed with no cat?), so it probably doesn't meet some requirements.Originally Posted by petrified.rabbit

No minimum wages. Many people work part time. But generally a dish washer, sweeper or toilet cleaner earns abt $400-600US a month. This country I stay in do not do much manufacturing stuffs in primary industries. Left with some silicon industries, chip & electronics industries, and bio medical industries. Not much primary industries. Now mainly secondary industries and tertiary industries (tourism, hotel services, medical services, educational services).
Yes. I heard of the high labour cost of car servicing in US. Thats why most of you guys here are so knowledgeable in cars as you guys really do hands on to maintain the vehicle due to high labour cost. Our country people usually (99.99%) pays to let worksop do it, as its pretty cheap labour here compared to in US.
dont be afraid. We NEED more performance parts for our cars. I cant wait to get some more cash to buy the pullies and coilovers.Originally Posted by xiaogary
I wondered about that 1.50 deal. Figure out the difference last time I went to Canada.
But y'all mentioned the Liter vs Gallon issue.
Just watching the forums to see what comes out next.
I have to divide my cash between my family, my Jeep, and the Aveo.
Currently buying toys for the Jeep.
We measure soft drinks in liters, does that count? lolOriginally Posted by ontarian_frog
