I live in Cali and i bought the header. You shouldnt have anything to worry about, cops wont pop the hood of these cars. I kept my stock manifold and cat just for when i have to go get a smog done, which i think its every 5 years in california.

im pretty sure you can install this header yourself, shouldnt need any welding done. the only thing you would have to do for emissions is just swap ur old **** back in for the tests.

Yes, you can diy (do it yourself) just some nuts and bolts only. Khan also gotten one. So he should know.
