Yes but the only way the the bypass valve is going to work unless the hole pipe is under water. In AveoSSTurbo's case it's not a waste of money because of the filter location being so low.
In AveoSam's case, the filter is so high the only way the bypass will work is if the water goes above the front wheels.
The way the bypass works is when there is a sudden change in pressure from a lot of water entering the intake pipe. so just droplets won't change the pressure enough to make the bypass work so water will still be entering the engine.
When I said it was a waster of money I thought the location of the filter would have been higher.

AEM makes a bypass and you can get them on ebay im gonna pick one up here soon. before we get a hefty rain storm.
