      Beginners modifications

Hey guys, im Nemesis from South Africa. I got a 2009 Chevy Aveo 1.6. I just recently installed a short air induction kit on my car and gettin good torque and power out of the car. But what i want to ask is, at the end of the year im planning on putting modified manifold and powerflow exhaust, will the stock engine be able to handle those modifications?

Sowi Aveo Joe, wat exactly did u put on, regarding the manifold? I cudnt understand ur reply regarding that.

I have google Opel Corsa modified manifolds and they all luk similar to the Aveo modified manifold that the other guy made, am i correct in sayin so? Because then i would possibly get a opel one in South Africa to fit on my Aveo.

well ill probably be doing this to my dads aveo, now the SA corsa and aveo motors have the same design so ill be using a opel corsa manifold. but what i want to know is can i jjust remove the cat and the car will drive fine or will the co2 sensor need to be changed to one that gives a false reading to the ecu?

not sure? I'm thinking you wont have to change it just make sure theres one on there. co2's are universal.
