Would it be possible to use the 04-08 CAI on a 2010(Aveos)? If not, what have some of you done for a CAI for 09+?

Rabbit used a honda intake and it worked out pretty well, you can buy your own pipe and make it into what you need it to as well. Look for rabbits thread, that is you best bet.
So everybody doesnt waste their money on a cold air intake set up (piping, brackets, sensors, CAI housing) all you need to really do is buy just a cold air intake Filter, the filter will fit over the stock piping, just have to buy a larger clamp. sounds great and i noticed an instant performance increase. You dont need to take out the bottom part of the stock air filter box, the CAI fits perfect.
huh? Ive always figured the purpose of buy the piping was for less restrictive air flow which stock pipes have a lot of(restriction that is). Not saying that just buying a k&n filter wont net you performance increase, just that with piping and a filter you gain even more(not much just some).

For an engine larger than 2.0 liter, the piping is a significant factor in gaining hp, but with a 1.6L; the stock piping with the cai filter is more than enuf to gain a proper air to fuel mixture. Giving you more mpg, hp. Unless ur running 200 hp or around there, It is unnecessary.
yeah, that stock piping is huge.. at about 1 and 3/8" at it narrowest point where the air travels past itself in the muffler.

Ah, i see
thanks
i was being sarcastic, the cai improves the response on my car tremendously. especially when paired with a muffler (better than the restrictive stock unit).
I really have no idea what mr dean is talking about.
I figured as much. Rabbit, did you do you muffler and cai at the same time or were they separate times so you could of noticed a difference both time?
