      Camo's super small turbo build

I felt like it's about time I make my own thread on my turbo build. And for discussion on things involving my setup.
My plans for this turbo build on my 2007 Aveo.
      GT1544 turbo $250
Universal intercooler (whatever will fit behind the bumper) $200
Custom exhaust manifold to fit the turbo $400
Upgraded 2.5 inch piping from the turbo back with a high flow cat and high flow muffler $200
3.4 engine size GM injectors $100
Universal oil feed and return setup $50
Greddy emanage blue or ultimate with a custom dyno tune. $500 for the piggyback, $300 for the dyno
Upgraded fuel pump (Walboro model, need a part number) $200
      Stock clutch, stock internals.

Going to keep the boost as low as possible, probably only 5lbs or so. Anything I might be missing or any other advice, please chime in. Thank you!

So after doing more research, I think I'm going to get a piggy back system. That way I can keep it OBD compliant and still have use of the OBD functionality. It's also a **** ton cheaper than a full ecu swap. And considering I am not looking for massive power gains, I think a piggy back would be a better option.

I agree on the piggyback. IMO there is no reason to eliminate all the great OEM programming if you don't need to, just tweak it where it doesn't fit the new tune. What piggyback were you thinking?

You'll have to add intake piping to the list, a new air filter, blow off valve... thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

greddy emanage blue is what i am leaning towards. Reasonably priced and should be able to handle the low amount of boost I have planned. Not sure what if any additional sensors I may need. And is a blow off valve necessary if the turbo has a built in it I thought? I was told the gt1544 didn't require an aftermarket bov. And the intake piping is such a small aspect of it lol

I've seen 1.5Ls tuned to 300hp with the emanage blue, it'll work just fine.

the wastegate is what is internal on the turbo, a bov will go on the charge side of the intake before your maf and is there to release pressure so you dont kill your compressor side when you let off the throttle

Also, a question on the oil lines. Can I run a line off of an oil sandwich adapter plate to the turbo and then a return line to the sump? Will that work?

Camp I will let you know how things fit as I order them. My plan is to tap a hole and bolt a male line attachment to the oil pan.see pics. I'm leaning towards a custom Mani so the turbo sits a bit higher, I don't want to have to add a scavange pump
