Sorry misunderstood what you were asking.
All good, I plan to tap the sump for the return. Just the incoming line I want to confirm I can go right from the oil filter location using a sandwich plate.

Any does anyone have info on a part number for a fuel pump that will work? And does anyone know the stock compression ratio?

get a walbro 255, check out the one on the whos running turbos, page 9 or 10. slight mod and it fits. those injectors look ok, check these-

Ok good, so we already have a pretty low compression ratio so that's good. Thanks for specifying which pump to go with. I'm sure I'll be able to make it work. And are the GM injectors a plug n play direct swap? Like physically they'll fit and the connectors fit too?
