There has been 1 question asked multiple times that you have not answered yet. Was the ECU a direct plug in to the Aveo's harness?
Yes the ECU from the Suzuki was as direct plug-in but I did have to extend some of the connectors because the engine is a bit bigger. I had to extend the EGR, Alternator, and Oil sending. I need to review my pictures and notes to see of there where other connecters that needed to be extended that is what I remember for now.
Regards,
Did you ever get your how to booklet done? I would be interested in that.
Just ran across this old thread... does that mean that you got your 2.0T before Nemasys then?
Yes he did but thats the only info hes ever posted about it.
I decided to go 2.0 when by 1.6's timing belt went from what i read on daewootech.
The turbo idea came from exist3nce on daewootech too.
That's a good way to go then if your belt breaks... just get a bigger engine and put it in there... This is off topic, but is anyone successfully running an supercharger on a stock Aveo 1.6 (by stock I mean non-swapped like the green monster).
no one likes the 1.6 in north america
How about other countries/continents? I'm sure if it's used on 1.2, 1.4, or 1.5, it could be adapted to 1.6
