I have no idea why anyone would buy a common part like that from the dealer. As far as parts houses go, Autozone charges 108 for the plug in and 68 for the hand wire universal. I didn't realize the ran the wiring from hell to breakfast like that, that does increase the odds of a short or break somewhere. Still, it would be faster to bench test the O2 sensor with a torch than trace and test all the factory wiring. If the sensor tests bad, you just replace. If its good, put it back. you must be getting some sort of Discount, because i have the Autozone website Pulled up RIGHT NOW, and EVERY SINGLE Downstream Oxygen Sensor is OVER $200 and that Universal "Wire-It-Yourself" Oxygen Sensor? its for the UPSTREAM Oxygen Sensor. Oreilly's has only the Downstream Sensor, and its OVER $200. Advance Auto Parts is a little better, where they have both Upstream and Downstream Oxygen sensors at less than $150. Napa is about On Par with Advance, having Oxygen Sensors for Less than $150.

sure its Cheap, but it takes up to a WEEK for it to show up at your door (if you go for the Cheapest Shipping like most people do) and again, my reasoning stems from the fact that there are some places in the US where the Emissions test is tied together with your Vehicle's registration; and if you fail Emissions, you can't get your registration renewed, and then you become Ticket Bait!
