I’m not sure what to do here.
I spoke with the dealer and they said the thermostat wouldbe covered by warranty however the two sensors would not.
If they diagnose one of the sensors as bad, I will immediately owe them a $100 diagnosis fee. If I let them fix it, they will charge mesomewhere around $50 for one sensor and around $30 for the other sensor. On topof that, they will charge me a $100 per hour fee to do the work.
If I knew how to test the sensors for proper operation andfound them to be good, I would not hesitate to take the car to the dealerbecause at that point I will know the issue to be the thermostat for which Iwould be covered by warranty.
If anyone can tell me how to accurately locate and test thesensors, I would greatly appreciate the help.
