      Chevy has an updated sensor which fixed my problem (posted last May), and it cost less than Autozones also!

      thank you! and yeahh that thread is mine that i started haha but thank you. i was just worried about it only pumping 6 psi instead of 8-9 psi

      how are you verifying 6 psi? an external gauge? where are you tying into the system?

      i had my local chevy dealership manually test the oil pressure. and yeah im guessing they used an external gauge and i think they took the readings from the same place that the oil pressure sending unit is attached to the engine block. so they took out the oil pressure sending unit and then put in an external reading device or gauge and they said it holds 6 psi at a hot idle at 2000 rpms

      I have a 2010 aveo5, my oil light came on but my oil reads full on the dipstick. Anyone else have that issue?
