      If you asking if another cup of oil would hurt, I wouldn't suggest it. If there is not a cavity space to fill, oil pressure will build up. It could get pushed through the PCV into the intake. I use the extra oil as a "rinse" during the next oil change. If you already did and are asking because your oil looks foamy you have a problem. If it looks like chocolate milk you may have a blown head gasket.

      Thanx for your opinion, gothstone! I will measurre out 4.75 qts as per manual. I"ll save the leftover 8 oz for makeup, if needed between oilchange intervals of 4.5-5k miles.
