Typically drop out everything from the bottom is fast.But you can use a strut tower engine brace drop the k frame and lean the tranny down and out, but the axles may become an issue since the slide into the tranny. Since you are only doing a clutch you don't need it all the way out, so that should work fine.

Thank you. I have the axles out. What manual transmission fluid will work? The GM number is 89021806 however there is none in the Springfield, MA area. There must be an equivalent 10W30 or similar that will not cause problems.
