      Colbalt Tranny swap

I wonder if it would be possible with the 1.6

Also does any of the colbalt models have a 5 gear auto tranny?

being the trannies now are electronically controlled. without the computer it would not know to shift into 5th gear without it being programmed in there.

for the amount of work you might as well do the whole cobalt engine and harness.

      Re: Colbalt Tranny swap

Speaking of trannies, my 3rd gear's synchros are completely smashed, but since i got my crank oil seals changed, for some reason my 3rd gear is completely fine now, there is absolutely no grinding at all, before it used to be pretty bad (Look at my WOT video on Youtube, you can hear my tranny grind 3rd gear pretty loud). I dunno what could have caused this, the crank seals have nothing to do with the tranny, all they did to the tranny was unbolt it from the engine to get access to the seal. Very strange but im not complaining lol, its like i swapped in a brand new tranny.
